Gucci Mane is supposed to perform at NC A&T’s homecoming concert but apparently some powerful people within the student body aren’t feeling that. Hundreds (HUNDREDS) of students (STUDENTS) gathered in protest of the rapper performing, stating they do not want to be associated with him because they do not like the “image” associated with him. They claim that his alleged ties to gangs and the attention it would give the university. Chancellor Harold Martin said “We are trying to determine if this artist can be replaced under the existing contract, how that would be done, [and] what the fiscal result would be.”

Gucci might be the hottest thing in the streets, but clearly he isn't the hottest thing on the YARD. Anyway, he's going to perform, I bet and there will be an even bigger crowd that loves Mane.

SIGNS THE WORLD IS COMING TO AN END

Officials in Zimbabwe claim that a goat has given birth to a half human offspring. Reports are that a man “lost control of himself” with the goat and impregnated it. The goat gave birth to something that resembled a human about the head and face, but had the body of a goat. The creature reportedly died within hours and was destroyed. I saw the pics and that thing, I don't know what to make of it. It sure looks like a monster to me.

NICK CANNON WANTS TO BEAT EMINEM UP?

Yes, you read correctly. Nick Cannon has reportedly said Eminem is “lucky” the two haven’t crossed paths since the rapper and Nick’s wifey Mariah have been embroiled in a bitter war of words. Nick added “I'm supposed to protect my woman if someone can be so heinous and disrespectful. Until we speak, I don't respect him as a man. He and I need to have an old-school sit-down." For those that don't know, an "Old School Sit Down" equals a fair one. And if you don't know what a fair one is, I can't help.

As you know, Chance is the other person that helps with the rumors and he's going to have his own views and opinions on things. That doesn't necessarily mean AHH or illseed share them.

WAS JAY SHOWIN' LOVE OR STUNTIN??

We know Jay-Z showed up at Fat Joe's album release party and Fat Joe even tweeted about it thanking him for coming through.  But it may not have been all love...apparently Hov showed up blasting his own record from a Jeep with no top and no doors foot out that b**ch ridin' that s**t like a skateboard...(whoa...got carried away).  He hit the DJ booth and proceeded to turn it into a Jay-Z party.  Joey Crack spent the entire night with a bottle of yack looking salty in the VIP until Jay left.

T-BOZ HAD A BRAIN TUMOR

T-Boz of TLC fame was fighting for children with sickle cell on The Celebrity Apprentice earlier this year but she recently revealed to People magazing that she secretly fought her own battle with cancer.  In 2006 T-Boz endured a 7 hour surgery where a doctor peeled a tumor from her brain stem.  She says she hid the entire ordeal because she "...didnt want pity...I'm still here. It will take way more to stop me."  Definietly a strong women.



KANYE GOT DUMPED FOR...WHO???

So the Fame Kills tour featuring Lady GaGa and Kanye West was officially canceled yesterday and Kanye is rumored to be losing millions, but I'm hearing Lady GaGa isn't so unfortunate.  Word is she will be hitting the road with Adam Lambert the weird guy who won American Idol.  So she basically dumped 'Ye ... SMH

There hasn't been an official reason the tour was canceled but Laurie Anne Gibson, the choreographer from Making The Band and GaGa's choreographer
says it was cancelled due to "creative differences" between 'Ye and GaGa.

50 CENT IS SORRY

...to any gay people he may have offended with his comments on the Angie Martinez show the other day.  Apparently some people had a problem with him reffering to the Kanye and Lady GaGa tour as The Gay Tour (don't expect an apology from me).  Here's what he had to say:

“During an interview with Angie Martinez yesterday, certain comments I made were taken entirely out of context. When I referred to the Lady Gaga tour as the “gay tour” I was basically repeating what I thought she had referred to the tour in the past. It was not my intention to offend anyone. I don’t have a problem with anyone’s lifestyle and have no issue with Lady Gaga, she makes great music."

THEY JUST DONT GET IT

I'm not naive enough to believe that kids are going to stop fighting or jumping people just because of Derrion Albert (RIP) but STOP posting your dirt online.  Apparently some girls got into it over a guy at a High School basketball game and proceeded to beat the brakes off the head of the cheerleading squad.  Well someone posted that video on FB and the assailants, 16 and 17 year old girls were charged with second degree assault.

Nike was quick to let us know they weren't cosigning Michael Vick ... apparently they've just agreed to give him free gear like they do a lot of athletes...Vick's agent jumped the gun a little

FLAVOR FLAV IS BACK!!!!

It may come as a shock to many of you but Mr. Flav never finished High School.  Well the Godfather of urban reality TV is returning with a reality show chronicling his return to High School to finish where he left off.  Flav is hoping this will "..be big enough to change the direction of reality shows".  Dont count this one out...who would have thought Flavor Of Love would become a franchise??

I was reading the paper and they refered to dude who stabbed dude to death across the street from MSG as a thug ... they made a point to say his suicide note lacked proper punctuation and was filled with mispellings ... I cant help but wonder if he was a white man would he still be an illiterate thug or a war veteran suffering from post traumatic stress syndrome.  After all he was trained to kill and surveilance video shows the "victim" was the one to start the fight...I just think it's funny how they're covering the story...meanwhile Roman Polanski rapes a 13 year old and everyone wants to rush to his defense.
